Dr Chris Summers is a Primary School Guidance Counsellor with a very keen interest in Shakespeare. On reading the Sonnets he was amazed to realise that the author was not, as commonly supposed, William Shakespeare but through his research he discovered that the real author was William's wife, Anne Shakespeare.

Thus began a journey of uncovering the evidence that would support this theory and has spawned the book "Shake-speare: The Hidden Author". The title comes from the title page to the 1609 Quarto edition of the Sonnets where Anne identifies herself as just being "Shake-speare".

Dr Summers has now published a further two books, "Shake-speare: The Inside Story" and "Shakespeare is a Woman" and is now well into his fourth book titled “Anne Shakespeare (In her own voice)” due for release 2025.

Dr Chris Summers lives with his wife, Judy on a couple of acres an hour out of Brisbane, Australia where they are immersed in their community, family and friends.
